Lisa and I just got out of our senior research class called business policy or “Policy” as we like to call it. This class combines all that we have learned so far in our major and today our class analyzed a case about an online jewelry retailer called Blue Neil. What is interesting about discussing these cases is that with such a small group (only 11 students are in the class) you become very comfortable speaking and sharing your thoughts. We are encouraged to voice our opinions and give evidence to support our ideas. It is a very constructive way to learn. There are no tests or papers for policy; however, it is a lot of work but we both really enjoy discussing these real life cases with our peers.
