TKE Open House

Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) hosted an open house last night. Kourtney and I are current members of TKE. For those of you who don’t know, TKE is a fraternity that we are trying to bring back to Adrian College’s campus. Besides TKE, AC is also home to Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Theta Chi, Phi Kappa Sigma, and Alpha Tau Omega fraternities, and Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Chi Omega sororities. The purpose of an open house is to allow prospective members a chance to get to know us better, as well as the fraternal system. The night went great, and we got to know a lot of great guys. At the conclusion of this week is when all fraternities are allowed to pass out their bids. Bids are a fraternity’s way of formally inviting someone to pledge into their fraternity. A bid is then accepted on what is called “run outs” in Caine Student Center. It is a very exciting night! If Adrian College is the choice for you, consider going Greek! (And consider TKE for all you fellas.)
