Tomorrow night is the 9th annual Mr. Alpha Phi pageant. Basically this is a male beauty pageant and the profits for the show go towards the Alpha Phi Foundation for cardiac care and research for women. In tomorrow’s show there will be 16 participants and 3 segments to get to know each individual guy. The rounds are casual wear, swim wear, and finally formal wear. Each guy is also asked questions each round. At the end a panel of judges (made up of AC staff and Alpha Phi alumnae) will select the next Mr. Alpha Phi. The first runner up will receive a $30 gift card to the movie theatre in Adrian. The winner not only gets the title “Mr. Alpha Phi,” but they get 2 Detroit Pistons tickets as well. I love going to this each year because the guys always crack me up; it’s a great time and for a great cause as well!! Hope to see you there, Wednesday at 8pm in Dawson Auditorium.
