End of the Year

Good Day Bloggers,

This will be my last blog for the school year, and I have to say I enjoyed every moment of it. So let's get on to some stories. I am the new student government president and I have taken on some big responsibilities in these last two weeks. I have been invited to the graduation celebration where I will be holding the sacred Shepherd's Crook. Plus, I will be having lunch with the CEO/President of La-Z-Boy. Awesome.

(I'm going to review my past week in reverse order, so don't get too confused!)
Most recently, Student Government hosted their annual Pancakes Under the Moon for a stress buster for the student body. We collaborated with Campus Activities Network (CAN) to play BINGO!

This past Sunday, Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted their 2nd Annual Field Day with the YMCA. Even after a rough track meet at Hillsdale on Saturday, I spent three hours of my life playing with the children. I enjoyed every moment of it. Of course the kids did too as the athletes spent time with them as well as educating them on different sports. (As seen in the photo below, I showed an AC staff member's daughter how to shot-put.)

Saturday night, I attended ASA's Formal at the Lenawee County Country Club. It was a beautiful place and a nice golf course. I escorted the beautiful Tiffany Taylor to the event and I was their as she won the award of "MOST LIKELY TO BE A SUPERSTAR."

Finally, Gina Relays in Hillsdale, MI is always fun. I ran against top schools and ran to the best of my abilities in the open 400 meter dash, 110 meter hurdles, and 400 IM hurdles.

Well like I said, this is the final blog of the school year. I hope you enjoyed. I am going through finals currently, and I have the MIAA Conference meet Thursday and Friday. For those Juniors/Seniors in high school reading, keep working hard and if you guys ever need something, find me on facebook. Enjoy your summer.
